Our client is an app entrepreneur and is based in France. He deals with various international clients and often has to visit overseas for his business-related work. While going to different countries, he noticed that he was unable to access a few region-blocked social media and video-streaming platforms that were working perfectly fine back in France.

Being an entrepreneur, he realized that he is not the only one who has this challenge. There are millions of people who cannot access banned social media and video-streaming platforms in their respective countries, such as Twitter, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hotstar.

Moreover, he was also concerned about being exposed to an insecure network while accessing personal information. He wanted to protect the location, network, and other valuable information and be inaccessible by unwanted parties. How Our Client Found Us

Our client wanted to work with one of the leading mobile app development companies in the USA or Canada to build the best Android VPN app. As we have already worked on multiple projects together, he contacted us again to collaborate on this project, seeing his old app’s success. What Solution We Offered to Our Client

Our client contacted us with all his requirements for this Android VPN app. He was clear with his idea, so it didn’t take much time for our Android app developers and project managers to understand the features he wanted to integrate into this free VPN provider.

As soon as we understood his requirements, we implemented his idea of building the TOR app that offers a paid as well as free VPN service. Initially, our business development team prepared a WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) document. This document helped our client to understand the structural view of the app.

Challenges We Faced

Developing the TOR app, we faced some minor challenges. However, we were successful in resolving all the challenges before the project deadline. The challenge we faced while developing this app was integrating the 3 significant features into the TOR app.

While implementing the internet speed test feature, it was challenging for us to find relevant test servers for all the countries and regions. Therefore, our Android app development team bifurcated all the regions based on the 7 continents and did a lot of research to find out the creditable servers.
The other major feature that we have integrated into this app is the TOR browser. During its integration, the major SDK was not available in the market. Therefore, we used the SDK of the TOR browser and resolved this challenge.
The integration of VPN connect was challenging for us because the used SDK had technical issues. Due to this, the VPN was not connecting, and time was running out. Our developers contacted the service provider to identify the challenge. Later, the support team identified the challenge and gave us the best solution.

The hard work behind developing this app has proved that we always attempt to deliver the best results. Finally, we successfully developed the TOR app within the deadline and published it on the Play Store.
