Software Engineer – NodeJS

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced NodeJS Developer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Node.js and its related frameworks such as Express, Hapi, Koa, etc., and a deep knowledge of TypeScript and Babel for efficient and effective coding.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Node.js and its related frameworks such as Express, Hapi, Koa, etc.

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Babel for efficient and effective coding.

• Expertise in building RESTful APIs and experience with API design and documentation.

• Ability to use databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL and experience with ORMs.

• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and their frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).

• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Chai, or Sinon.

• Knowledge of build and package managers such as Webpack, Gulp, or NPM.

• Familiarity with serverless architecture and cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and source code management best practices.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications using Node.js

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code using TypeScript and Babel

• Troubleshooting and debugging issues related to Node.js and its related frameworks

• Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality and standards are met

• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Node.js and related ecosystems

• Working in an agile development environment with continuous integration and deployment
